Indian Navy Civilian Recruitment – Educational Qualifications
Staff Nurse :-
- Matriculation (10th) or equivalent
- Certificate of training in an approved Hospital as a Nurse.
- Registered as a fully trained nurse in the Medical and Surgical Nursing and Midwifery Desirable
- Knowledge of Hindi or local language
Chargeman (Naval Aviation) :-
- Candidate should have held the rank of Petty Officer or equivalent and have seven years servicel experience as such in the appropriate technical branch of the Army/ Navy or Air Force. Or
- Diploma in Aeronautical or Electrical or Mechanical or Tele-Communication or Automobile Engineering. Or
- Matriculates with approved apprenticeship and 5 years’ experience in the trade
Chargeman (Ammunition Workshop) :-
- Bachelor of Science degrees with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognized University or Institution. Or
- A Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University or Board.
Chargeman (Mechanic) :-
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Electron-ics or Production Engineering from a recognized University or Institute and
- 2 years’ experience in quality control or quality assurance or testing or proof in the area of design or production or maintenance of engi nearing equipment or system from a recognized organization
Chargeman (Ammunition and Explosive) :
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recog nised Liniversity or Institution with two years expe rience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance or Testing or Proof in the area of Chemical Engineer ing or Processing from a recognised organisation

- (02 years’ experience as a Retoucher. Or 07 years’ practical experience as a Retouched in Military Survey, Survey of India of other Photo establishment of repute for ex-Servicemen only)
Pharmacist :-
- 12th class pass with Science subjects (Physics Chemistry and Biology) from a recognized Board.
- Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institute
- Registered as Pharmacist under the Pharma cist Act, 1948 (8 of 1948):
- Two years experience as Pharmacist in any recognized hospital or pharmacy after duly registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (8 of 1948); and
- The candidate shall have working knowledge of computer
- Desirable:
- Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (B Pharm) from a recognized University or institute
- Registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948 (8 of 1948)
- The candidate shall have working knowledge of computers
Cameraman :-
- Matriculation (10th) or equivalent
- Diploma or certificate in Printing Technology awarded after at least two years course or training from a recognized institute.
- 05 years’ experience of operating process cam eras. Or
- 10 years experience as a Cameraman or Photo-graphed in Military Survey, Survey of India or other photo establishment of repute (for ex-Ser virement only)
Store Superintendent (Armament) :
- Degree in Science with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognised University with basic computer knowledge on database manage mant with one year experience in stores work in Government Department or Public Sector Under taking or in a reputed firm, Or
- 10+2 in Science or Commerce with five years experience in stores work in a Government Department or Public Sector Undertaking or in a re putted workshop.
Fireman :
- 12th class pass from a recognized Board.
- Elementary or basic or Auxiliary Fire Fighting course from a recognized institute.
- Desirable: Possession of heavy motor vehicle (HMV) license.
Fire Engine Driver :
- 12th class pass from a recognized Board.
- Must possess Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) License from recognized authority.
Storekeeper/ Storekeeper (Armament) :-
- 10+2 or Pass With 1 Year Exp.
Civilian Motor Driver Ordinary Grade :
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or
- Must possess a driving license for Heavy Vehicles and Motor Cycles.
- 1 year practical experience in Henry Motor Vehicles (HMVs diving.
Tradesman Mate :
- 10th Standard pass from a recognized Board institute.
10th + ITI Pass in various trade.
