Educational Qualifications 

  • Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 pass) with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
  • Candidates who have appeared for the JEE (Main) – 2025 exam (for B.E/ B. Tech). Call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2025, published by NTA

Age Limit 

  • Minimum Age: 15 years (as of 01 Jan 2024, if born on 01 Jan 2009)
  • Maximum Age: 18 years (as of 02 July 2024, if born on 02 July 2006)

SELECTION PROCEDURE – Indian Navy

(a) Shortlisting Criteria

  • Naval Headquarters will fix the cut-off for shortlisting based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2025.
  • Candidates must mention their CRL Rank in the application form.
  • SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be held at:
    • Bangalore
    • Bhopal
    • Kolkata
    • Visakhapatnam
    • Starting from September 2025 onwards.

(b) Intimation

  • Shortlisted candidates will be informed via SMS and Email (as provided in the application).
  • Do not change the registered mobile number or email ID until the process is complete.

(c) SSB Centre

  • Change of SSB centre is not allowed under any circumstances.

(d) Call Letter

  • Download the SSB call-up letter after receiving intimation via email/SMS.
  • Requests for changing SSB interview dates must be sent to the Call-Up Officer mentioned in the letter.

(e) Compensation

  • No compensation will be provided for injuries sustained during SSB tests.

(f) Travel Allowance (TA)

  • AC 3-tier fare is reimbursable only if appearing for the first time for a particular type of commission.
  • Carry a photocopy of your:
    • Bank passbook’s first page or
    • Cheque leaf (showing Name, Account No., and IFSC code)

    Pay the fee online, if applicable. Follow the instructions provided for a smooth transaction.

    After verifying all details, submit the final application form online.
  7. Print the Confirmation
    Take a printout of the submitted application form for your future reference.
