The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released the AIIMS Common Recruitment Examination (CRE-5) 2026 Notification for 1,484 Non-Faculty Group B and Group C vacancies across 28 AIIMS and Central Government Institutes/Bodies. Some post groups require a Stage-II Skill Test after qualifying the CBT.
The Skill Test is qualifying in nature. Final merit is prepared based on CBT marks, provided the candidate qualifies the required Skill Test.
The AIIMS Common Recruitment Examination (CRE-5) 2026 follows a multi-stage selection process to recruit eligible candidates for 1,484 Group B and Group C Non-Faculty posts. Candidates must successfully complete each stage to be considered for final appointment.
Candidates shortlisted in the CBT will be called for the Skill Test for specific post groups.

Note: The Skill Test is qualifying in nature and does not carry additional marks unless specified in the recruitment rules.
Candidates qualifying the CBT (and Skill Test, where applicable) will be invited to select their preferred AIIMS or participating institute.
Candidates who fail to submit their preferences within the prescribed time will not be considered for seat allocation.
Based on merit and preferences, AIIMS will allocate candidates to the participating institutes.
Selected candidates must appear for document verification at the allotted institute with all original documents.
Candidates who successfully complete document verification and satisfy all eligibility conditions will receive the appointment letter and must report to the allotted institute on the scheduled joining date.
Failure to report within the prescribed time may result in cancellation of candidature.
Selected candidates will receive salary according to the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix. Apart from the basic pay, employees will also receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), Medical Benefits, Pension Benefits (as applicable), and other admissible allowances.
