IISc Teaching Assistant Age Limit 2026
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Age will be calculated as on the closing date of application.
- Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India rules.
IISc Teaching Assistant Salary 2026
Selected candidates will receive attractive monthly emoluments.
For Non-NET/GATE Candidates
- ₹30,000 + HRA per month
- After 2 years: ₹34,000 + HRA
For NET/GATE Qualified Candidates
- ₹37,000 + HRA per month
- After 2 years: ₹42,000 + HRA
The final salary recommendation will depend upon the candidate’s academic qualifications and experience.
Contract Duration
The appointment will be purely temporary and contractual.

- Renewable annually
- Maximum contract period: 5 Years
- Extension subject to satisfactory performance and institutional requirements
