Madhya Pradesh Civil Services Encouragement Scheme 2025: Financial Assistance for SC/ST Students

The “Civil Services Encouragement Scheme (Madhya Pradesh)” is implemented by the Tribal Welfare and Scheduled Caste (SC) Department of Madhya Pradesh to provide financial incentives to SC/ST candidates appearing for civil services examinations.

Key Features of the Scheme

✅ Objective: To motivate SC/ST youth to pursue civil services
✅ Beneficiaries: SC/ST students who are native residents of Madhya Pradesh
✅ Income Limit: Family annual income should not exceed ₹6 lakh

Incentive Amount Details

For UPSC (Union Public Service Commission)

• Preliminary Exam Cleared: ₹40,000
• Mains Exam Cleared: ₹60,000
• Selected in Interview: ₹50,000

For MPSC (Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission)

• Preliminary Exam Cleared: ₹20,000
• Mains Exam Cleared: ₹30,000
• Selected in Interview: ₹25,000

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant must belong to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)
• Must be a native resident of Madhya Pradesh
• Must have cleared UPSC or MPSC examination
• Parental annual income should not exceed ₹6,00,000

Application Process (Offline)

Step 1: Visit the office of the Assistant Commissioner/District Coordinator during working hours and request the prescribed application form.
Step 2: Fill all mandatory fields in the form, attach a passport-sized photo, and self-attested copies of required documents.
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application along with documents within the specified deadline.
Step 4: Obtain an acknowledgment receipt containing submission details (date, time, and unique ID if applicable).
