ESIC Professor Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must satisfy the educational qualification and experience prescribed in the notification.

For Medical Candidates

Applicants must possess:

MBBS Degree recognized by NMC
MD/MS or equivalent Postgraduate Degree in the concerned specialty
Required teaching experience

Experience

Candidates should possess either:

Four years of teaching experience as Reader/Associate Professor

Three years of teaching experience as Associate Professor along with required research publications.

For Non-Medical Candidates

Applicants should possess:

Master’s Degree in the relevant subject
Ph.D. in the concerned discipline
Required teaching experience according to ESIC rules.
